ProEd offers training on Mainframe Application Programming. This comprehensive and intensive training program provides hands on experience on Live Mainframe Servers and covers from basic fundamentals of Mainframe to sufficiently advanced concept to make a person industry ready to enter the world of Mainframe.

ProEd conducts the training on Mainframe Application Programming under two programs;

1. SkillZPro:
The SkillZPro Program has been specially designed for Engineering/MCA student looking towards a career in IBM Mainframe Application Programming. The complete course has been designed to induce the Mainframe Application Programming skills in to the aspiring students making them capable  to work with the Top class MNCs globally.

The SkillZPro program offers training on Mainframe Application Programming. This comprehensive and intensive training program provides hands on experience on Live Mainframe Servers and covers from basic fundamentals of Mainframe to sufficiently advanced concept to make a person industry ready to enter the world of Mainframe.

2. SkillZPro+ :
The SkillZPro+ Program has been specially designed for Engineering/MCA student looking towards a career in IBM Mainframe Application Programming. The complete course has been designed to induce the Mainframe Application Programming skills in to the aspiring students with some additional modules making them capable  to work with the Top class MNCs globally.

The SkillZPro+ program offers training on Mainframe Application Programming with exposure to additional modules. This comprehensive and intensive training program provides hands on experience on Live Mainframe Servers and covers from basic fundamentals of Mainframe to additional skills like PL/1, REXX and CLIST.

B.E./B.Tech/MCA fresher with >=60% marks throughout academics

Selection Process: Keeping in view the comprehensive curriculum requirements, candidates interested in enrolling to the SkillZPro or SkillZPro+ program are required to undergo a counseling session with the Academic Counselors at ProEd centers. Candidates will be evaluated on an Aptitude Assessment Test and a Communications Skills Interview.

After successfully completing the training program, the trainee would have gained a fair knowledge of the architecture and capabilities of IBM Mainframe and how to interact with the system for various activities by using the fundamental commands.  The participant will also be exposed to COBOL programming which will be used to develop software and help the support services in different applications run smoothly. Apart from this, the DB2 module will impart knowledge on RDBMS concepts in mainframe. The last module on CICS gives students an opportunity to explore online transaction processing that is done on mainframes.  ProED provides each and every student with a case study that gives real time exposure.  The exposure helps to understand and cater to the different business requirements of varied industries with a tho-rough knowledge of the SDLC domain.  It also helps in gaining a fair knowledge of the various tools being used by the mainframes.
