Maintec commenced operation in 1998 with a focus on providing IBM Training and Y2K remediation services on platforms. A complete data center was established in Bangalore, India with an ES/9000, 9121-411 , and since then has been upgraded to MP-3000.

• Became IBM Premier Business partner (ISV) IN 2004.
• Establishment of training centers in Hyderabad, Delhi, Pune, Chennai and Trivandrum in 2004.
• Maintec Technologies UK limited established in 2006 to cater to UK market.
• Became IBM software service provider (SSP) in 2005.
• Became IBM partners in development in 2006.
• Training division demerged to wholly owned subsidiary ProEd training Private Limited in 2008.
• As a CSR program supporting a village school for last 5 years with a contribution of more than Rs. 15.00 lakhs.
• Own corporate building construction started in 2010.
• Revenue doubled from Rs. 11.00 crores to 21.00 crores in 2011.
• Head count increase from 228 to 635 in FY 2011.
